A picture of a 1960s tug-of-war has sparked fond memories for one Flashback reader who was shocked to see himself in the paper.
Roy Curtis, who lives in Leyland, contacted the Guardian after we printed an appeal for information about a picture taken of the Bay Horse tug-of-war in Euxton.

Doreen Baines found the black and white picture when she was rummaging through old boxes and asked readers to get in touch to help name the men taking part.

Mrs Baines, who used to be a barmaid at the Bay Horse had already pointed her husband Alan out in the picture and recognised a gentleman called Bobby Cooper, but now Roy has come forward and put more names to faces.
