M55 Crash Closes Lane

A CAR passenger was taken to hospital after a collision on the M55 this afternoon.
Police were called to Junction three of the Eastbound carriageway shortly after 3:30pm following the incident between a Ford Ka and a Suzuki Grand Vitara.

Lane three was closed temporarily as the vehicles were recovered, one passenger was taken to Royal Preston Hospital. Their injuries are believed to be minor. The lane reopened at 4.20pm.
