A charity horse ride in memory of Brinscall teenager Ryan Acaster raised more than £600.
Around 60 people took part, most in fancy dress, in memory of the 17-year-old who lost his life following a motorbike accident on a dirt track near Martin Mere in the summer.

Louise Roberts, 22, from Coppull, who knew Ryan through Leyland and District Riding Club and Euxton Riding Club, organised the event and says it was a big success.

A cake stall and tombola were also set up to and helped raise more than £600 for the charity World Horse Welfare.

Ryan's mum Diane Catterall said: "My husband Peter and I would like to thank everyone who joined in and helped the day go so smoothly, with an extra big thank you to Louise for organising such a thoughtful event.
"I am very touched and know Ryan would have loved it."
