Chorley and Leyland have been hit by more flooding after a bout of torrential downpours.
The freak July weather is causing chaos right across the area and has even forced the closure of Spendmore Lane, in Coppull.

Other roads worst affected include Dawson Lane, in Whittle-le-Woods and Balshaw Lane, in Euxton - which are covered in surface water.

Commuters are also bracing themselves for delays in South Ribble where Coote Lane, in Lostock Hall, is again under water and problems have been reported in West Paddock.

Schools in the area have also been hard-hit and a clean-up operation is underway at Whittle-le-Woods Primary School.

Do you have any dramatic pictures of the floods? Send them to us at guardiannews@hotmail.com or contact Natalie Banks on 01257 264911 to tell us your story.
