A young mum from Chorley says her life is being ruined by an invasion of rats.
For the past 12 months, Amanda Hall, 21, says she hasn't been able to sleep because rats have been heard scampering around in the attic and between walls at her housing association-owned house in Wright Street.

Most recently, the single mum was horrified when vermin were heard knocking over ornaments and nibbling furniture in her 18-month-old son Charlie's bedroom.

It is thought the problems stem from a broken sewer pipe in the area.

Coun Terry Brown, who represents the area, is calling for a 'full investigation' after other households reported similar problems in neighbouring streets.
