A cycling duo is biking across the whole of Britain to raise funds for a Chorley hospice.
Mates Matt Moran and Bob Langrish, 27 and 54 respectively, are taking on the Lands End to John O' Groats challenge in aid of St Catherine's Hospice.

The pair are now on the 1047-mile trek and have already raised more than £2,000 between them.

Bob, who has been in charge of Greenside Landscapes in Chorley for many years, said: "I've been doing around 30 miles a day for the last six weeks to prepare for the trip and I'm going to do a few 50 and 60-mile rides before we set off.

"Matt is half my age so I've had to do a lot more training because I want to keep up with him.

"The reason we chose St Cath's as our charity is because my dad died there and they look after people very well.

"It's going to be a breath-taking experience and we are both looking forward to it."

The team set off on May 9 and you can sponsor them at www.justgiving.com/mattmoran1.
