A church fair in Coppull took place on Saturday to help boost much-needed funds.
The annual grand summer market at Spendmore Lane Methodist Church attracted dozens of crowds as they raised just over £1,000.
Lots of fun filled activities took place including a raffle and tombola, as well as cards, cakes, plants and book stalls.
Deacon of the church, Marian Stanley, said: “This is more than just a money raising event. It’s a chance for the whole community to come together and get to know each other.
“We were blessed with a good day which made it most enjoyable.
“The doors were open and people came in and browsed at their leisure with lots of fun and laughter.
“This was a community event and the money raised is being used to keep our doors open. We feel our church is essential to this village”.
