This week, Flashback is trying to get readers to come forward with their tales about three mysterious photographs.

Citizen photographer Ken Chapman has been in touch with the newspaper and he wants to hear from people about these pictures.

One is of the Coppull Springfield team which won the Chorley Sunday League in 1991.

Among the names featured includes current Charnock Richard FC boss and former Chorley favourite Andy Westwell.

On the caption, it reads: Left to right, back row – Allan Banford, Alan Riding, Steve Hart, Stuart Hodgekinson, Shaun Griffiths, Des Christie, Graham Haddon, Ian Mawdesley, Ian Farnworth, Dave Brooks (manager). Kneeling – Andy Westwell, Barry Unsworth, Dave Seddon, Kevin Fisher, Steve Thompson andDave Unsworth.

The side won the final 2-1, which was staged at Preston North End.

Another picture which should stir up some memories is the one of Leyland Motors workers heading home after the day shift at the Farington Works.

Do you recognise anyone in the picture or do remember the photograph being taken?

And one photo is of the gable end of a property in Euxton.

It seems to be advertising something - possibly a garage company.

Can you help by shedding some light on the photographs and tell us your story regarding any of them?
