The weather may have been miserable, but it was all smiles for Chorley’s annual Picnic in the Park.
Pictures have continued to flood in of all the fun and frolics in Astley Park last Sunday.
The day event was organised by Chorley Council, in conjunction with The Royal British Legion, which is celebrating its 90th anniversary.
Although the rain kept a lot of people away, around 1,000 people still descended on the park for plenty of thrills and spills.
Entertainment on the day included theatre acts, archery, rock climbing and performances from the Band of the King’s Division, the Accrington Pipe and Drum Band and the Chorley Chrystalliers dance troupe.
