Final preparations are being ahead of the reopening of one of Chorley’s best known pubs.
Regulars were shocked when the Swan with Two Necks closed suddenly before Christmas.
As revealed in last week’s Guardian, owners Denise and Nick Hogan are now giving the iconic pub, in Hollinshead Street, a second chance.
Punters will be able to drink in the Swan from Good Friday and it will be open until 11pm Monday to Thursday and midnight at weekends.
Nick added: “We have had to reduce the opening hours as our security bill was costing us £1,000 a week, but we want to give it a real go.
“We have had so many people come to us asking to re-open and we’re looking forward to seeing some familiar faces.”
