A Chorley author will host a walk exploring the valley of Brinscall Brook.
David Clayton, who wrote the Lost Farms of Brinscall Moors, which appeared on the BBC’s Countryfile programme, will host the walk tomorrow (Thursday).
It will go from Brinscall to White Coppice and back, taking in some unusual routes.
Mr Clayton, of Maple Avenue, Brinscall, will lead the five-mile walk which will take around three hours to complete.
He said: “It’s a walk of discovery around the delightful valley of the brook and there are many interesting features and excellent views.
“It will be relatively easy with some gentle gradients.”
Walkers should meet at the bottom of School Lane at 10.30am and wear suitable clothing and footwear.
