A gym boss and competitive bodybuilder bought drugs on the internet and gave them to his customers, a court heard.
Gordon Pasquill, owner of Pasquill’s Gym in Chorley, was known as “Dr Pasquill” for providing phenazepam.
Chorley Magistrates’ Court was told on Friday that he gave the tablets to gym members who looked “ill” or “tired” and did not make any money.
He bought them online to help him sleep after working and training left him feeling “hyped up”, the court heard.
The drugs were found when police carried out simultaneous raids of his home on Bridge Hill Court, Chorley, and the gym on Friday Street on May 8.
They were underneath the reception counter and in his office at the gym, as well as in his car and his home, magistrates heard.
