Thousands of people expected to turn out to see the Olympic Torch pass through Chorley may want to get their brollies at the ready.
An update from the Met Office said the weather will not be a replica of the soaring temperatures we have seen over the past week.
Starting cloudy and chilly, there is a chance of rain before brightening up later on.
A spokesman for the Met Office said: “It is not absolutely going to rain but there will be a high chance.”
When the torch arrives on the A6 Bolton Road at 7.20am temperatures should reach around 13 degrees.
The weather should however clear up in the afternoon, but unfortunately this could be too late for residents in Croston as the torch arrives in its final Chorley destination Bishop Rawstorne High School at 8.15am.
