Bookshop boss Tracey's thanking divine intervention

A popular Leyland business has been saved – by an act of faith!

When Heavenly Treasures, a Christian bookstore was threatened with closure, Tracey Noteman, with help from above, offered to take over.

Tracey said: "Heavenly Treasures has been serving the town for two years but when the previous owner had to move away, it seemed the shop would close.

"But I prayed long and hard about it and, even though I've never done anything like this before, I just knew God was leading me to it.

"He even woke me in the middle of the night to tell me it was right!"

Leylander Tracey took over the reins of the Towngate shop earlier this month, and is loving every minute of it.

She said: "I have worked in retail but owning your own business and making all the decisions is very scary.

"It's a really big step for me, but it's also very exciting. I have had lots of good wishes, support and offers of help from friends.

"The shop is well-established but I want to make it even bigger and go mobile, taking resources out to churches, schools and Sunday schools."
