Lord Sugar should head to Parklands High School if he wants to find his next apprentice.
The school held a competition on Friday for budding tycoons in Year 10 as part of their successful Learning Challenge Week.
The eight forms launched eight businesses and the idea was to promote working in a group.
They had three products - perfume, chocolate and a drink - and they had to use all their expertise to design and promote them.
Members of the business world then took on the role of Lord Sugar to look at the merits of each business.
People were given ‘Parkland Pounds’ and the idea was to get investors to buy shares in the company.
Respected local business coach Mike Reece, of RM Solutions (NW) Ltd, was one of the panel of judges.
He said: “I’ve been very impressed.
“The business acumen is way above their age.
“They’ve all put a lot of hard work and research in to take their products to market.”
