Richard Ogden, 38, of Redwing Drive, Chorley, was fined £190 by Chorley magistrates for driving at a speed exceeding the legal limit of 30mph in Parbold. The offence happened on February 6. He was also ordered to pay £20 victim surcharge and £85 court costs. His record was endorsed with three points.

Adam Ambrochowicz, 25, of Black Croft, Clayton-le-Woods, was fined £320 by Chorley magistrates for driving without valid insurance in Church Street, Preston, on April 5. He also had to pay £32 victim surcharge and £85 court costs. His driving record was endorsed with six points.

Jason Michael Smith, 34, of Broadfields, Chorley, was given a community order, with a curfew, for assaulting Matthew Bates by beating him when he appeared at Chorley Magistrates’ Court. He also had to pay £50 compensation, £85 victim surcharge and £85 court costs. The offence happened on October 29.

Dean Michael Swarbrick, 33, of Station Road, Adlington, was fined £210 by Chorley magistrates for driving along Rawlinson Road, Heath Charnock, whilst under the influence of alcohol. The offence occurred on October 30. He had to pay £30 victim surcharge and £85 court costs.

He was disqualified from holding or obtaining a driving licence for 19 months.

Matthew Mojsejew, 26, of Royal Umpire Caravan Park, Southport Road, Croston, was given a community order, with a curfew, for driving along Southport Road, Croston, whilst under the influence of alcohol and without valid insurance. The offence happened on October 29. Chorley magistrates also ordered that he pay £300 compensation, £85 victim surcharge and £85 court costs. His record was also endorsed and he was disqualified from holding or obtaining a driving licence for 25 months.
