Patrick Wesley, 27, of Austin Drive, Chorley, was fined £40 by Chorley magistrates for driving at a speed exceeding the legal 30mph.

Robert Macpheat, 28, of The Crescent, Chorley, was fined £441 by Chorley magistrates for failing to give information relating to the identification of the driver of a vehicle, who was alleged to have been guilty of an offence. He also had to pay £85 court costs and £44 victim surcharge. His driving record was endorsed with six points. The offence happened on June 2.

John Ambrose Bamsey, 45, of Liptrott Road, Chorley, was fined £50 by Chorley magistrates for not wearing a seat belt. He also had to pay £85 court costs and £30 victim surcharge. The offence happened in Southport New Road on April 22.
