Sean Daniel McLaughlin, 34, of Gloucester Road, Chorley, was given a 12-month drug rehabilitation community order by Chorley magistrates for stealing goods worth £294 from Morrisons.

He also had to pay £85 victim surcharge and £85 court costs.

The offence happened on November 16 last year.

Scott Southern, 19, of Lower House Road, Leyland, was fined £120 for stealing a car and driving without a valid licence and insurance when he appeared at Chorley Magistrates’ Court.

He also had to pay £30 victim surcharge, £85 court costs and his licence was endorsed with six points.

The offence happened on February 5.

Matthew David Langstreth, 20, of Snowdrop Close, Leyland, was fined £180 for driving at a speed exceeding the legal 50mph when he appeared at Chorley Magistrates’ Court, He also had to pay £30 victim surcharge and £85 court costs, He was disqualified from driving for 21 days.

The offence happened in Preston New Road, Freckleton, on November 30.

Samantha Jane Cunliffe, 21, of Longton Street, Chorley, was fined £45 by Chorley magistrates for driving without a valid licence.

She also had to pay £30 victim surcharge and £85 court costs. She was disqualified from driving for six months and her record was endorsed with six points. The offence happed in Clifford Street, Chorley, on October 4.

Neil Francis Williams, 50, of Riversedge Road, Leyland, was fined £185 for driving without valid licence and insurance, when he appeared at Chorley Magistrates’ Court.

He also had to pay £30 victim surcharge and £85 court costs. He was disqualified from driving for seven days and his licence was endorsed.

The offence happed on the M6 on October 3.
