Sean Daniel McLaughlin, 34, of Gloucester Road, Chorley, was given a community order with a drug rehabilitation requirement by Chorley magistrates for stealing two bottles of vodka and a bottle of Jack Daniels from Morrisons. The offence happened on January 28. He also had to pay £85 court costs.

Liam Anthony Wilkinson, 26, of Pennine Road, Chorley, was fined £80 at Chorley Magistrates’ Court for being drunk in a public place.

The offence happened on February 2. He also had to pay £30 victim surcharge and £85 court costs.

Margaret Winspare, 48, of Seymour Street, Chorley, was fined £120 for driving when under the influence of alcohol. Chorley magistrates also ordered her to pay £85 court costs and £30 victim surcharge.

She is disqualified from driving for 18 months and her driving record has been endorsed.

The offence happened in Pall Mall, Chorley, on February 5.

Michael Richard Carney, 52, of Shireburne Drive, Chorley, was fined £660 for failing to give information relating to the identification of the driver of a vehicle, who was alleged to have been guilty of an offence.

Chorley magistrates also ordered him to pay £66 victim surcharge and £85 court costs. He is disqualified from driving for 12 months and his record was endorsed with six points.

The offence occurred in Preston on July 7 last year.

Aisha Asif, 31, of Durham Drive, Chorley, was fined £40 for driving a speed exceeding the legal 30mph when she appeared at Chorley Magistrates’ Court. She also had to pay £20 victim surcharge and £85 court costs.

Her driving record was endorsed with three points. The offence occurred in Preston New Road on January 5.
