Here is a summary of cases at Chorley and Preston magistrates courts.

Thomas Allanson, 38, of Glover Close, Leyland, was fined £660 by Chorley magistrates for failing to give information on the identification of a driver who was alleged to have been guilty of an offence. He also had to pay £66 victim surcharge and £85 court costs. He was disqualified from driving for six months and his record was endorsed. The offence happened on September 5.

Darren John Aldred, 20, of Mallard Close, Leyland, was fined £250 by Chorley magistrates for driving a car without valid insurance, a licence and MOT. He also had to pay £85 court costs and £30 victim surcharge. His record was endorsed. The offence happened on October 23. He was also fined a further £250 for driving another vehicle without a valid licence, insurance and MOT, paying £30 victim surcharge and £85 court costs, His record was endorsed with six points and he was disqualified from driving for six month. This offence occurred on November 4.

Zilehuma Zeb, 30, of Townsend Drive, Buckshaw Village, was fined £116 by Chorley magistrates for driving at a speed exceeding the legal 30mph limit. She also had to pay £30 victim surcharge and £85 court costs. Her driving record was endorsed with three points. The offence happened in Colne Road, on June 19.

Jack James Ashall, 27, of Keepers Wood Way, Chorley, was given a community order, with a curfew, by Preston magistrates for possessing cocaine and resisting arrest. He also had to pay £85 victim surcharge and £85 court costs. The offence happened on November 25.

Mark Anthony Ashworth, 42, of Welsby Road, Leyland, was fined £290 by Preston magistrates for driving whilst under the influence of alcohol. He had to pay £30 victim surcharge and £85 court costs. He was disqualified from driving for 12 months and his record endorsed. It happened on April 7.
