WATCH: M6 driver travels at speeds of over 110mph and hogs middle lane

A reckless driver was caught travelling at speeds of over 110mph on the M6 in wet weather yesterday evening, say police.

Dash-cam footage taken by Lancashire Police shows the driver hogging the middle lane, apparently unaware that police were following behind.

The driver was spotted by officers at junction 29 for Bamber Bridge heading north towards junction 30 for Preston.

In a post to Twitter, a spokesman for Lancashire Police says: "Driver on M6 ignoring speed limits, weather conditions, and traffic conditions (middle lane hogging). Reported for offences."
