A CYCLING pensioner touring England will visit residents of a retirement housing scheme in Chorley tomorrow so they can sign a 90th birthday card for the Queen.

Terry Keen, 69, from Surrey, will be popping into Pikestone Court where he will be welcomed by four tenants, Harold Hunter, Mary McNally, George Birchall and Lillian Sandham, who are all in their 90’s. Other residents will be lining the entrance to cheer him on.

The visit is part of a 1,400-mile cycle tour of England to collect 3,000 signatures on a specially designed birthday card.

His trip also includes two other Lancashire stops in Blackburn and Burnley.
