Donkey leads the way

A donkey was led through Leyland as part of the tradition of Palm Sunday.'The donkey - 27-year-old Sally - was began her journey from St Ambrose Church, in Moss Lane, Leyland. 'She was accompanied by her owners, Carol and Steve Limmer, from Whittle-le-Woods.'The procession started at around 10.15am on Sunday and involved a journey around the outside of the church.'Sally was then taken into the church and blessed by Rev. A Chorley donkey was led through Leyland as part of the tradition of Palm Sunday.
