Families took a step back in time at a fun-filled event at Hoghton Tower.
The historic venue hosted a World War Two inspired day, which included a stunning performance from the Corps of Drums of the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers (Lancashire).
In celebration of the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee year, the musicians marched on the stately home’s long driveway, while children waved union flags.
Other highlights included a 16 Parachute field ambulance, a six-wheeled armoured car and a US Marine Corps display.
Youngsters tried out a mine detecting game, a Second World War quiz, and had their faces painted in camouflage colours.
