A devoted Chorley dad has died after collapsing at a rugby match on Friday.
Tributes have flooded in for fun-loving Mark Evans, who suffered a suspected heart attack whilst at the Wigan Warriors match at the weekend.
The 42-year-old, from St James’s Place, collapsed just before the match started, and after attempts by paramedics to revive him, was taken to Wigan Infirmary.
His devastated wife Sam Evans, 37, didn’t get chance to say goodbye when she arrived at the hospital at about 10pm, and had to break the news to their sons Ben, 13, and Jack, 10.
