The funeral has taken place of a 'special' 15-year-old schoolboy who died in his sleep.
Hundreds of mourners said goodbye to Mark Bottomley.
There was standing room only as the teenager's flower-laden coffin was carried into Charnock Richard Crematorium to the song 'In the arms of an angel.'
More than 400 people came together to say their final goodbye to the teenager who died suddenly just days before he was due to celebrate his 16th birthday.
During the service, led by Mike Faun, the Southlands High School pupil's devastated dad Paul stood up to read a poem penned in his 'star' son's memory.
