There will be plenty of fun to be had when Winter Playday returns this weekend.
Families and young children can enjoy a range of free activities, including circus skills, interactive computer games, arts and crafts, giant games and Punch and Judy shows.
There will also be information available about activities around the borough.
The event is being organised by Chorley Council and will be held from 11.30am to 3pm on Saturday in the Lancastrian at Chorley Town Hall.
It aims to promote the importance of play to encourage children and their families to get together, have fun and make lasting memories.
It is the finale of the Get Up And Go February activity programme, which sees sport, art and play activities held around the borough.
Coun Bev Murray, who oversees community development for the council, said: “Chorley Council is very committed to the development of play for young people. Playday is supported by a range of other organisations that have worked in partnership over the years to make sure the events take place every year.
“I hope lots of residents take this opportunity to come along, have fun playing with their young ones and enjoy a great day out.”
