Serving and ex-service personnel in Chorley can seek help and advice from the Royal British Legion.

Allison Dobinson, the charity’s advice and information officer, will be based at Chorley Council’s civic offices, on Union Street, from 9am to noon on Tuesday, March 4.

She will have information on a range of issues, such as financial advice, bereavement support, home services,·care services, support for injured or wounded personnel, and education and retraining.

Chorley Council agreed to host the drop-in as part of its community covenant pledge to support the armed forces community in the borough.
