Midwives from Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust will hold a “pop-up shop” in Chorley.
They will speak to people about maternity services and give advice about babies and antenatal care, including feeding, screening and getting involved in research.
People will also be able to talk to the midwives and ask questions.
The team will be in a shop on Market Walk, in Chorley town centre, from 10.30am to 4.30pm on Monday, then from 9am to 4.30pm on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday next week.
Julie Stein, associate team leader for maternity services at the trust, which runs Royal Preston and Chorley And South Ribble hospitals, said: “This is a fantastic opportunity for our midwives to get out into the community and for people to be able to learn more about the services that are available, but also to ask any questions they may have.”
