A LEYLAND solicitors firm is celebrating 25 years on the same site, with a new name and enhanced services.
There has been a solicitors business operating at 61 Towngate since the early 1980s, now as Dixon, Raven & Marsdens.
And in that time the firm has not stood still – it now employs four solicitors, together with support and administration staff, has a barrister on its staff and is celebrating legal successes after two six figure personal injury employment case wins.
"We have firmly established ourselves in five of the most demanded legal areas," said partner Peter Dixon. "With new appointments, promotions and significant legal wins, we offer one of the strongest legal services teams in South Ribble."
The new barrister is Chanda Tirathrai, who has been with the firm's personal injury department for two years. She recently completed her Bar examinations and is now qualified as a Barrister of the Honourable Society of Lincoln's Inn.
Rachael Stirling, who first joined the firm in 1994 as a trainee solicitor, has returned after a period away to head the personal injury department where she recently led two cases which generated six figure financial settlements.
One concerned industrial ill health and the other workplace injury.
"While others come and go, DRM is firmly committed to Leyland and the South Ribble area," said Peter.
