An accident blackspot between Chorley and Leyland was the scene of yet another crash last week.
The collision took place on the junction of Dawber's Lane and Runshaw Lane, near the Traveller's Rest pub in Euxton,on Tuesday.
In the last five years there have been 23 injury accidents on that stretch of road.
In the latest incident, the female driver of a Volkswagen Golf was taken to hospital for a check-up but nobody was seriously hurt.
The other vehicle involved in the accident last Tuesday was a Ford Mondeo, and both cars were recovered after the crash at 4.48pm.
Police left at 6.50pm, and the area was cleared by LCC staff by 8pm, allowing for traffic to return to normal.
Commuters were backed up towards Chorley, Leyland and Croston, as police attended the scene.
