The American drive-in movie experience will come to Chorley this weekend.
Chorley Carnival’s committee is transforming the car parks at Botany Bay to screen four movies on Friday and Saturday.
Monsters University will be shown at 6pm on Friday, followed by Grease at 9pm.
On Saturday, Despicable Me 2 will be shown at 6pm and Mamma Mia at 9pm.
The audience will enjoy full stereo soundtracks transmitted to car radios on a special frequency as they watch the movies from the giant screen.
Tickets cost £20 per car, available in advance from.chorley-carnival.com, or £25 on the night.
Popcorn, hot dogs, pick ‘n’ mix and drinks will all be available.
The event will raise money towards the cost of this year’s carnival, which will be held from Friday, June 6 to Sunday, June 8 at Astley Park.
