Fire at derelict restaurant

Fire crews were called to a blaze at a derelict restaurant near Chorley.

The fire took place at the India Palace in Chorley Road, Anderton. The cause is being investigated.

The alarm was raised at 5.46am on Thursday and six appliances attended.

The main building - measuring 150m x 10m - was badly damaged.

Locals say it's been the scene of other fires.
