It will be dancing shoes at the ready this weekend when Southlands High School holds a charity zumbathon.
Professional zumba trainer, Sarah Walton, will lead the two-hour session from 2pm on Saturday in the school’s sports hall.
It will raise money for a new roof and education equipment at a school in Gambia.
Southlands has supported the school for 10 years, helping to pay for the installation of electricity, new student toilets, the foundations of a school vegetable garden, and a solar pump to provide a piped water supply.
Tickets to the zumbathon cost £5, available from the school reception.
It is open to people of all ages and previous zumba experience is not required.
