Hunt for staff with the shock factor

AS far as summer jobs go – they probably don't come any more hair-raising than this.

Thrillseeking thespians have been invited to put their skills to good use frightening the life out of holidaymakers at Louis Tussaud's Waxworks.

The Promenade attraction is relaunching Chamber Live as part of a permanent feature in the newly refurbished Chamber of Horrors.

And this summer, ghoulish brides and tormented mental patients will be greeting steely-nerved tourists who dare to cross their path.

Now waxwork bosses are looking for staff with the shock factor to play the role of the tortured souls.

Matthew Titherington, general manager of Louis Tussaud's said: "Drama students from Blackpool and The Fylde College launched the Chamber Live experience during half term last year and it was so successful we've

decided to make it a permanent feature during the main season."

The new Chamber of Horrors is expected to be ready to thrill by Easter.
