Last year's winners celebrate their success in Chorley's annual garden competition

A final call is being made for green-fingered residents to enter Chorley’s annual garden competition.

This year’s event has seen Chorley Community Housing, Chorley Council, Birkacre Garden Centre and Chorley And District Gardening Society come together to find the best kept garden.

It is part of Chorley’s bid for national glory in the prestigious Britain In Bloom contest.

Mike Murphy, regional manager at Chorley Community Housing (CCH), said: “We have already had some cracking entries but know that there are a lot more people out there who need their hard work and dedication to be recognised.”

To enter, submit a photograph of your garden, along with your name and address, before Friday, June 27.

Entry forms are available from either CCH’s office at 32-34 St Thomas’s Road, the council offices on Union Street or from Birkacre Garden Centre.

Alternatively, call 0845 505 3355 or 0300 111 1133, or email info@adactushousing.co.uk.
