Man charged with nurse's murder

A 30 year old man has been charged with the murder of nurse Jane Clough.

The 26-year-old nurse, who grew up in the Chorley area, was found dead outside Blackpool Victoria Hospital on Sunday July 25.

Jonathon Vass, of Conway Drive in Preston has been charged with murder. He has been remanded in custody to appear before Blackpool magistrates court on Thursday morning.

Jane, who was a mum of one, went to St Bedes Primary School in Clayton Brook as a child and grew up in Whittle-le-Woods.
