Teenager Nicole Reilly will be strutting her stuff at London Fashion Week on Saturday.
The 18-year-old has been selected to take to the catwalk for fashion designers as part of the prestigious showcase.
Nicole, of Chester Place, Adlington, said: “I’m quite nervous but I’m really excited too.
“I’ve always wanted to be a model since I was young. I have always been tall and my family have said I should be a model.
“I am overwhelmed that I now have the opportunity to take my modelling career very far.”
Nicole, who is studying childcare at Runshaw College, is working hard to pursue her dreams.
She is also a finalist in the Top Model UK competition, which is held annually to find new models.
Nicole was selected from thousands of entries following an audition in September in London.
She will compete in the editorial model category in the final, which will be held at London’s Hilton Metropole hotel in April.
To increase her chances of being crowned the winner, Nicole needs to get as many votes as possible from members of the public.
And she is calling on people in Chorley to support her.
She said: “I hope people will go online and vote for me and boost my chances to win the competition.”
To vote for Nicole, go to www.topmodeluk.com/editorial. Voting closes at 5pm on Thursday, April 3.
