Previous attacks have involved broken roofs, smashed fences and burned seats.

The latest incident is thought to have taken place overnight on Tuesday.

Crooks smashed a gaping hole in the roof of the refurbished snack shack and also attacked metal shutters with crowbars.

Thieves made off with £100 worth of stock including crisps and chocolate as well as stealing a small amount of cash from the tills.

The damage is expected to cost the club £3,500 in total, including repairing the roof.

Chorley FC chairman Ken Wright said: “We are

totally frustrated in that these

individuals are damaging the club’s chances of making any progress on and off the field.

“The costs of repairing all the damage is starting to have an impact on the player

budget.

“We need names to take to the police so they can drag the alleged vandals in for questioning. Hopefully this will result in some or all of them being charged and being prosecuted. I would urge anyone who knows of any individuals bragging about the damage they have caused to get in touch with us and we will do the rest.”

Lancashire Police is investigating the incident.

People are asked to call 1011 and quote the log number 359 of February 4.
