It’s three cheers for local pub The Bowling Green after it raised more than £150 for a children’s charity

Staff at the Charnock Richard based pub spent Easter fundraising for The Legacy Rainbow House, which helps children with disabilities, brain injuries and life limiting

Adam Halliday, manager of The Bowling Green said: “We had heard about The Legacy Rainbow House and the work they do from one of our regulars, and so decided to choose them as our charity of the Month at Easter.

“We organised a collection tin in the pub and also sent Easter eggs over to the children at the charity.

“They are a brilliant charity and we are pleased to be able to help them.”

Sonia Harris, Community Relations Officer at The Legacy Rainbow House commented: “We are delighted that The Bowling Green chose us as their Charity of the Month.

“Their donation and support makes a real difference to all the children here at The Legacy Rainbow House and is very much appreciated.”

The Legacy Rainbow House specialises in providing services for children with brain injuries, disabilities and life limiting conditions from its centre of excellence, The Legacy.
