Summer club for disabled children

A centre which provides conductive education and rehabilitation for children with disabilities is opening its doors for a summer fun club.Sessions at Rainbow House, in Mawdesley, will run for four days a week, excluding Wednesdays, from 10am until 4pm, until August 26.The programme, which is funded by Lancashire County Council and run by trained staff, will include a range of different activities including music, dance, face painting, football, pottery painting, arts and crafts, and trip days.Children can also enjoy an army day, with assault courses and den building, and take part in crazy experiments, with science workshops.The club is for disabled children living within Lancashire who are aged between four and 18 years old.
