The Guardian has issued a rallying cry to the people of Chorley to ‘Support our town’.
After a tough couple of years our town centre is struggling to survive.
With empty shops, dilapidated buildings and shoppers tempted out of town to bigger retail centres, we want to promote what’s great about Chorley – and fight to improve what’s not.
In support of the town we are asking you to:
- Support the town’s bid for share of a £1m cash pot through the Portas Pilot scheme
- Support local shops and businesses by putting your money where your house is
- Support Chorley by telling us what’s great about YOUR town. We want your views, stories and want to hear about what YOU do to make Chorley great.
