He said: “In 2015 my wife, Pat, and I completed a South China Sea Cruise from Beijing to Singapore. This talk shows the Great Wall and the Forbidden City of Beijing and then features the scenery of other places we visited such as The Peace Park at Nagasaki, in Japan; the Buddhist Temples of Busan in South Korea and the beautiful gardens of Shanghai.

“We visited safaris in Kruger National Park and The Tuli Game Reserve in 2016.

“For the tourist these two places are quite different. Kruger is almost too neat and tidy - you always drive on smooth roads and rarely leave your vehicle. Tuli is vast, open, free and totally wild, you drive on dirt roads and extremely rough tracks. We were extremely lucky to see a pangolin, a truly rare animal that is also normally nocturnal. From our jeep I photographed many animals, including warthogs, lions, a leopard, elephants, hippos, wildebeests, buffaloes, crocodiles and numerous antelopes.

“Arizona to Alcatraz covers a journey from Phoenix Arizona to San Francisco. It takes in The Grand Canyon, Glen Canyon, Bryce Canyon, Zion Canyon, Monument Valley, Las Vegas and ends on Alcatraz Island with a trip around the prison and the only ever successful escape of three men.

“The scenery is all breathtaking; all four canyons have their own unique geographical features and Monument Valley is so vast and empty - apart from the iconic buttes and mesas.”
