Man seen pushing car down outside lane of M61
A man has been spotted pushing a car in the outside lane of the M61.
North West Motorway Police said officers were attending a report of a man in lane three pushing a silver car, on the southbound carriageway at J9 near Walton Summit.
In a tweet sent about 1.20pm, police said: “#notsafe. If you break down please use the hard shoulder.”
