Severe delays reported on northbound M6
Hundreds of drivers have been stuck in stop start traffic with severe delays reported this morning on the M6.
Traffic is said to be crawling on the northbound carriageway from Bamber Bridge beyond junction 31a.
Police say there are no reported incidents.
The delays come after lanes on the A6 were narrowed to allow major construction work to take place on Garstang Road.
The new by pass is not expected to open until early 2018.
