‘There’s no place for drugs in Chorley.’
That was the message from police on Friday after they carried out a series of drugs raids at addresses in Chorley East.
A Guardian reporter and photographer joined police on Operation Crackdown.
They say they’re getting tough after receiving information that drug deliveries were being made across Chorley.
Children cried and neighbours ran to their doorsteps as police teams forced entry into properties in Progress Street and Cedar Street.
They found small amounts of cannabis at each property and police insist there would be no let-up.
