Chorley have been given encouraging draws for the FA Cup and FA trophy.
In the E.ON preliminary round on August 29 Chorley have been drawn at home against Nostell Miners Welfare FC from Yorkshire or Oldham Town of the North West Counties League.
Steve Waywell's men will be hoping for more luck this season after the Victory Park outfit crashed out of the competition 1-0 against Atherton Laburnum Rovers last term.
Meanwhile, there will be an intriguing Lancashire derby in the FA trophy when Chorley travel to Rossendale United on October 3.
