Euxton Girls U10s team are proving that football isn't just for the boys.
Success in the Golborne Cup, when they beat Inter Mill Hill with two goals from Maddie Critchley, completed a hugely successful season.

The girls, who are managed by Graham Moon and coached by Ian Singleton, finished runner-up in the West Lancs Girls League with seven wins and three draws from their 14 games.

They also reached the final of the West Lancs League Cup; West Lancs Challenge Cup Final; and Wigan Athletic Tournament Plate.

The top scorers in the league were Maddie Critchley, with 12, and 10-goal Jade Elliot.

At the annual awards night , held at Chorley Football Club, the following players picked up awards: Ruth Whipp was managers's player of the year; Jenny Wootten was players' player of the year; Olivia Readett was deemed to be the most improved player and Stacey Tatlock was the club person of the year.
