Small school - big on talent

Withnell Fold Primary School may only be small but it is bursting with talented swimmers.
The school team managed to scoop the top prize at the Small Schools Swimming Gala for the second year running and also came out on top in the medley team race.
The team, consisted of Daniel Acton, Lewis Hawkes, Lucy Davies, Gabriela Sharp, Fergus Tallon, Josh Eckersley, Joanna Nicholas, Sophie Fowler and Robyn Turner.
Headteacher Sue Teale, said: "The team competed against 17 other schools and with only 42 key stage two pupils at Withnell Fold it is an excellent success."
