Chorley FC players leave
The task facing Chorley FC's new boss Steve Waywell became clearer at the weekend after meeting his first team players.
With five weeks until the pre-season training starts, the former Hyde United boss realises he has the challenge of replacing some of Chorley's first team stars.
Waywell, along with his assistant Benny Phillips have been looking at bringing in four or five new faces to boost the Victory Park squad.
He said: "Ken Wright and I met with eight of the players and I told them our expectations and I think that was one of the reasons they have stayed here.
"Some of the players, such as Danny Nolan, were being tapped up by other clubs but they wanted to be part of what we are building here.
"As you would expect at this stage of the season some of the players have said they are joining other clubs.
""Rob Henry and Chris Ward have moved to Lancaster City, while Peter Collinge has moved to Mossley.
"Ken Wright has also been talking to Mike Eckersley as he was being wanted by Radcliffe.
